Celestina Blok

About

Celestina Blok is a born-and-bred Fort Worth native, raised on chips and salsa, chicken fried steak, and her grandmother’s homemade flour tortillas. As a third-generation Fort Worthian, Celestina still calls her hometown home, where she proudly cheers on her TCU Horned Frogs and gets giddy over local traditions like daily cattle drives in the Fort Worth Stockyards and sipping salt-rimmed margaritas at Joe T. Garcia’s. She’s a food and travel writer, culinary school graduate, fitness instructor, wife, and mother. Her love for her city is evident in her first two books, Lost Restaurants of Fort Worth and 100 Things to Do in Fort Worth Before You Die. In Cowtown Comfort, her passion for food and Fort Worth come together for a delicious dive into the city’s culinary culture.
