Annie Tobey has enjoyed playing with words since her first creative writing assignment in elementary school. In the intervening decades, she has penned hundreds of articles, focusing on craft beverages, travel, and Richmond-based topics, and published two other books, including 100 Things to Do in Richmond Before You Die. A native Richmonder, Annie has experienced the region as a fun-loving local, professional writer, mom to three now-grown kids, dog mom, and runner logging hundreds of miles on roads and trails. In short, Annie has spent decades enjoying the Richmond region—and helping others do the same.
