Carrie Steinweg is an award-winning freelance food, travel, and history writer, blogger, author, photographer, and content creator based in Northwest Indiana. A native of Chicago’s south suburbs, she and her sister, Becky Clark, founded the popular Chicago Foodie Sisters blog together in 2011. She is the author of nine books (including Unique Eats and Eateries of Indiana), a travel columnist for the Northwest Indiana Times, and host of a weekly food-related radio show on WVLP 103.1 FM and a podcast called Good Bytes by Chicago Foodie Sisters. During the summer season she also manages a twice-weekly farmers market.
