Kim Michalak is a Florida-based writer rooted in Winter Park, where she draws inspiration from the area’s natural beauty and vibrant culture. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Chatham University and a BA in English from Rollins College. A former associate editor of The Fourth River, her poetry has been featured in various literary journals including Literary Mama, Rogue Agent, Global Poemic, and Briefly Zine. She takes pride in raising her family in the community that shaped her.
