Like millions of Americans, limited time and rising costs turned what I hoped would be a summer of travel into a summer spent mostly in and around Atlanta. At first, I felt like I was missing out. By the time August rolled around, I realized I hadn’t missed much at all. In fact, this has been one of my favorite summers in years.
